Overview
Create orders manually in your seller area to fulfill phone orders, custom requests, or other transactions placed outside your online storefront.
When to Create Manual Orders
Use the manual order creation feature for: - Phone orders from customers - In-person orders - Custom or special requests - Orders from customers unable to use the checkout process - Bulk orders requiring special terms
Creating a Manual Order
Step 1: Access the New Order Form
- Log into your seller area at seller-area.youcan.shop
- Navigate to Orders > New Order
- The new order creation form will open
Step 2: Enter Customer Details
Fill in the customer information: - First name and last name - Email address - Phone number - Delivery address (street, city, postal code, country)
Step 3: Add Products
- Search for products by name or SKU
- Select the product you want to add
- Enter the quantity
- Repeat for additional products
- Confirm the total amount
Step 4: Save the Order
Click the Save button to complete the order creation. The order will appear in your All Orders list with the reference number and timestamp.
Once created, you can open the order and update its payment status (Unpaid, Paid, Refunded) and shipping status (Unfulfilled, Fulfilled, Canceled) from the order detail page.
After Creating the Order
Once saved, the order will: - Appear in your orders dashboard - Generate an order confirmation (if email notifications are enabled) - Be included in order exports and reports - Allow you to edit details at any time
You can edit the order by returning to the order details page and clicking the Edit action.
