How to Manage Saved Payment Methods
Save your credit or debit cards to YouCan for easy account top-ups and transactions. Manage which card is your default and remove cards you no longer use.
Access Payment Methods
Go to accounts.youcan.shop/payment-methods to manage your saved cards.
Add a New Card
To save a payment method:
- Go to accounts.youcan.shop/payment-methods
- Look for the Add card section
- Click Add card
- Enter your card details:
- Card number
- Expiration date
- CVV (security code)
- Cardholder name
- Click Save Card
Your card is encrypted and stored securely. YouCan never stores your full card details on its servers.
View Your Saved Cards
All saved cards appear in a list showing the card type icon (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), masked card number (last 4 digits), expiration date, a DEFAULT badge for your primary card, and a three-dot menu with options to set as default or remove the card.
Set a Default Card
Your default card is automatically used for balance top-ups, subscription renewals, and other account charges.
To change your default card:
- Find the card you want to set as default
- Click the three-dot menu
- Select Set as default
- The "DEFAULT" badge will move to your new card
Remove a Card
- Find the card you want to remove
- Click the three-dot menu
- Select Remove
- Confirm the removal
If you remove your default card, YouCan will automatically assign your oldest remaining card as the new default.
Security Tips
- Only save cards on your personal, secure device
- Don't save cards on shared or public computers
- Regularly review your saved cards and remove expired or unused ones
- Use strong passwords and enable 2FA for account security
- Monitor your card statements for unauthorized charges
Top Up Your Balance
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Top up balance
- Enter the amount you wish to add
- Your default payment method will be used automatically
- Confirm the transaction
