How to Delete Your Account
Deleting your YouCan account is a permanent action that removes all associated stores, products, and data. Proceed with caution.
Important: This Action Is Permanent
Before deleting your account, understand that:
- All stores associated with your account will be deleted
- All products, orders, and customer data will be permanently removed
- This action cannot be undone
- You will lose access to your seller dashboard and customer records
Before You Delete
Consider these alternatives:
Deactivate Your Store:
If you want to take your store offline temporarily without losing data, deactivate it instead of deleting your account. You can reactivate later.
Delete Individual Stores:
If you want to keep some stores but not others, delete specific stores instead of your entire account.
Contact Support:
If you're experiencing issues or have concerns, reach out to YouCan support first. They may be able to help.
Delete a Store
To delete a store from your YouCan account:
- Go to Settings in your Seller Area
- Click General in the left sidebar
- Go to the Deletion & Deactivation tab
- Click Delete store
- A confirmation dialog will appear — select a reason from the dropdown
- Confirm the deletion
Your store and all its data will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.
After Deletion
Once your account is deleted:
- You cannot sign in to YouCan
- All your store data is permanently removed
- You will not receive orders or customer communications
- Your domain will no longer point to YouCan (if using a custom domain)
- Any pending refunds or payouts are forfeited
If You Change Your Mind
If you deleted your account by mistake and need help recovering your data, contact YouCan support as soon as possible. Depending on the time elapsed, they may be able to assist.
