How to Create Coupons

Coupons are promotional codes customers can enter at checkout to receive a discount on their purchase.

Creating a New Coupon

1. Navigate to Coupons in your seller dashboard
2. Click the Add a coupon button
3. Fill in the coupon details and click Save

Make sure to enable the coupon field in your checkout settings so customers can enter coupon codes.

Coupon Types

The coupon form has two tabs:

Code-based discount - Customers enter a specific code at checkout to get a discount.

Quantity-based discount - A discount is applied automatically when a customer adds a minimum quantity of products to their cart.

Code-Based Discount Fields

• Code - The code customers type at checkout (e.g., SUMMER20)
• Discount Value - The amount or percentage to discount
• Discount Type - Choose Percentage or Fixed amount
• Validity period - The date range during which the coupon is active
• Usage limit - Maximum number of times the coupon can be used in total
• Filter by products (optional) - Restrict the coupon to specific products
• Auto apply for payment gateway (optional) - Automatically apply the coupon when a specific payment method (e.g., Cash on Delivery) is used
• Description - Internal note about the coupon's purpose

Quantity-Based Discount Fields

• Min Quantity - Minimum number of items in the cart to trigger the discount
• Discount Value - The amount or percentage to discount
• Discount Type - Choose Percentage or Fixed amount
• Validity period - The date range during which the coupon is active
• Usage limit - Maximum number of times the discount can be applied in total
• Filter by products (optional) - Restrict the discount to specific products
