How to Use the All Coupons Section

The Coupons section allows you to view, manage, and organize all your promotional codes in one place. Easily search, filter, edit, or delete coupons to control your discount campaigns.

Accessing Your Coupons

Navigate to https://seller-area.youcan.shop/admin and click on Coupons in the left menu. This displays a list of all coupons you`ve created for your store.

Coupons Listing View

The Coupons page displays all your promotional codes in a structured table with the following information:

1. Code - The actual coupon code customers enter at checkout
2. Description - Details about what the coupon offers
3. Discount Type - Whether it`s a percentage or fixed amount discount
4. Discount Value - The discount percentage or amount
5. Status - Active, Inactive, or Expired status
6. Usage - How many times the coupon has been used
7. Valid Until - The expiration date of the coupon

Searching for Coupons

Using the Search Bar

1. Enter a coupon code in the search field at the top of the page
2. You can search by the coupon code itself or by description
3. Press Enter or click the search icon
4. Results will filter instantly

Filtering Coupons

Use filtering options to narrow down your coupon list:

1. By Status - Filter to show:
   • Active coupons (currently usable)
   • Inactive coupons (temporarily disabled)
   • Expired coupons (past their end date)
   • All coupons
2. By Date Range - Filter by when coupons were created
3. By Usage - Show coupons that have been used or unused

Sorting Coupons

Click on column headers to sort your coupons:

1. Click Code to alphabetize coupons
2. Click Discount Value to sort by discount amount
3. Click Valid Until to sort by expiration date
4. Click again on any header to reverse the sort order

Editing a Coupon

To modify an existing coupon:

1. Locate the coupon in the list
2. Click the Edit button (pencil icon) on that row
3. Modify the coupon details:
   • Code
   • Description
   • Discount settings
   • Usage limits
   • Expiration date
4. Click Save to apply changes

Note: You cannot edit a coupon that has already been used by customers. You must create a new coupon instead.

Deleting a Coupon

1. Find the coupon you want to remove
2. Click the Delete button (trash icon)
3. Confirm the deletion when prompted
4. The coupon will be permanently removed and customers cannot use it

Checking Coupon Performance

Click on a coupon to view detailed analytics:

1. Total Uses - Number of times the coupon was applied
2. Customers Used - How many unique customers used the coupon
3. Total Discount Given - Sum of all discounts applied
4. Last Used - When the coupon was last applied

Coupon Status Indicators

Coupons display different status indicators:

1. Active - The coupon is currently usable by customers
2. Inactive - The coupon has been disabled but not deleted
3. Expired - The coupon has passed its expiration date
4. Limited - The coupon has reached its usage limit
