How to Use AI Image Generation

YouCan`s built-in AI image generation tool helps you create stunning product images, marketing visuals, and promotional graphics using artificial intelligence. Generate custom images with text prompts and customize them to match your brand.

Accessing AI Image Generation

Quick Access from Header

  1. Log in to your seller area
  2. Look for the AI button (rocket icon) in the seller-area header
  3. Click to open the AI Image Generation tool

Your current AI Credits balance is displayed in the header (e.g., 922 credits).

Understanding AI Credits

AI Credits are required to generate images. Each image generation uses credits based on complexity and quantity.

Checking Your Credit Balance

Your available credits are shown in the header at the top of your seller area.

Buying More Credits

When you run low on credits:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Navigate to Billing
  3. Scroll to the AI Credit section: seller-area.youcan.shop/admin/settings/billing#ai-credit
  4. Select the credit package you want to purchase
  5. Complete the payment

Viewing Purchase History

View your AI credit purchases:

  1. Go to Invoices
  2. Click the AI Credit tab
  3. See all your credit purchases and dates

Generating Images

The Image Generation Interface

The AI image generation tool has three main panels:

  • Preferences - Customize your image settings
  • History - View all your past prompts and generations
  • Library - Access and organize saved generated images

Step 1: Write Your Prompt

  1. In the Preferences panel, find the text input area
  2. Type a detailed description of the image you want to create
  3. Character limit: 1500 characters

Example Prompts

YouCan provides quick start prompts you can use:

  • "Showcase a premium coffee mug"
  • "Highlight a luxury cashmere sweater"
  • "Create a high-end makeup beauty shot"

Feel free to modify these or create your own prompts.

Step 2: Add Text to Your Image

To include text that will appear on the generated image:

  1. In your prompt, place the text inside double quotes
  2. Example: "A product shot with text saying `Summer Sale 50% OFF`"

The AI will attempt to render the quoted text on the image.

Step 3: Choose Aspect Ratio

Select the dimensions of your generated image:

  • 1:1 - Square (perfect for social media posts, product shots)
  • 3:4 - Portrait (good for mobile ads, product highlights)
  • 2:3 - Vertical (suitable for story formats and tall displays)
  • 9:16 - Ultra-wide vertical (ideal for full-screen displays)

Step 4: Set Variation Count

Choose how many variations you want the AI to generate:

  • 1 variation - Single image (uses fewer credits)
  • 2-4 variations - Multiple options to choose from (uses more credits)

Step 5: Add a Reference Image (Optional)

If you want to guide the AI`s style:

  1. Click Upload Reference Image
  2. Select an image from your computer
  3. The AI will use this as inspiration for style and composition

Step 6: Generate Images

  1. Click Generate or Create Image
  2. The AI will process your request
  3. Generated images appear in your Library and History
  4. Credits are deducted from your balance

Managing Your Generated Images

History Panel

View all your past prompts and generations:

  • Click any previous prompt to regenerate a similar image
  • See your generation history with timestamps
  • Modify and re-use successful prompts

Library Panel

Organize your best generated images:

  • Save images - Move generated images to your Library
  • Download images - Export images to your computer
  • Delete images - Remove images you don`t need
  • Organize collections - Create folders or tags for your images

Tips for Better Image Generation

  • Be descriptive - Include colors, style, mood, and composition details
  • Mention product type - Specify "premium coffee mug" not just "mug"
  • Add context - Include lighting style ("studio lighting", "natural light")
  • Use style words - Try "minimalist", "luxury", "modern", "vintage"
  • Reference materials - Upload example images to guide the style
  • Test variations - Generate multiple versions to find the best result
  • Use quotes for text - Always put visible text in double quotes

Understanding Credit Usage

  • Basic images: standard credit cost per generation
  • Multiple variations: additional credits per extra variation
  • Reference images: may affect credit cost
  • Aspect ratio: different ratios may use different amounts

Optimizing Credit Usage

  • Start with 1 variation to test your prompt
  • Reuse successful prompts instead of generating new ones
  • Download and save your best images to avoid regenerating
  • Monitor your balance in the header

  • Product photography - Generate lifestyle and product showcase images
  • Marketing campaigns - Create visuals for seasonal promotions

Troubleshooting

Generation Failed or Timed Out

  • Check that you have sufficient AI credits
  • Try a simpler, shorter prompt
  • Verify your internet connection
  • Retry the generation

Image Quality Issues

  • Be more specific in your prompt
  • Add reference image for style guidance
  • Avoid conflicting style descriptors
  • Generate multiple variations to choose the best

Out of Credits

  • Purchase more credits in Settings > Billing > AI Credit section
  • Check your remaining balance before generating
  • Consider which images are worth generating
