This article covers the Product settings section inside Store > Theme, which configures what appears on product pages when using the YouCan (old) theme. These settings do not apply to new themes.
If you are using a new theme, product page layout is managed through the Theme Editor. See How to Customize a New Theme with the Theme Editor.
Access Product Settings
- Go to Store > Theme in the left sidebar
- Click Product settings in the left section menu
The product settings panel has four tabs: Sections, Stock, visitors & countdown, Advanced, and Styles.
Sections Tab
The Sections tab controls which elements are visible on product pages. Each row has a toggle to show or hide that element:
- Title: The product name at the top of the page
- Images: The product image gallery
- Price: The product price display
- Variants: The variant selector (size, color, etc.)
- Express checkout form: A simplified one-click checkout form directly on the product page (disabled by default)
- Add to cart + Quantity: The add to cart button and quantity selector
- Scarcity: A low-stock warning indicator to create urgency
- Visitors: A live visitor count (e.g. "12 people are viewing this right now")
Toggle each element on or off to control your product page layout.
Stock, Visitors & Countdown Tab
This tab controls social proof and urgency elements:
- Configure stock level thresholds for the scarcity indicator
- Set visitor count display options
- Configure countdown timer settings for limited-time offers
Advanced Tab
This tab contains additional product page behavior options such as:
- Image gallery display settings
- Breadcrumb behavior on product pages
- Other layout adjustments
Styles Tab
This tab controls the visual appearance of product page elements:
- Button colors and styles
- Typography overrides for product titles and descriptions
- Spacing and layout adjustments
Save Your Changes
After adjusting product settings, click Save at the bottom right of the page. Changes apply immediately to all product pages in your store.
