You can control the maximum value a single order can reach at checkout. This is useful for managing risk or aligning with payment gateway limits.
Where to configure it
- Go to Settings > General in your seller dashboard.
- Scroll to the Details section.
- Find the Max checkout amount field and set your desired limit.
- Click Save.
Default behavior
By default, the maximum checkout amount is set around 9,900 in your store's currency. If you sell high-value items, you may need to increase this limit.
When a customer's cart total exceeds the maximum, they will not be able to complete the checkout.
When to adjust this setting
- Increase it if you sell expensive products (electronics, furniture, luxury goods) and customers are unable to check out.
- Decrease it if you want to limit order sizes for fraud prevention or operational reasons.
